Cooperation with the IBAF (Feb 2008)
The International Baseball Federation and YaYa Bats have started a cooperation.
Of course everything starts in a small scale, but we are very proud that YaYa Bats has been chosen to be the supplier of baseball bats for upcoming IBAF development programs.
This was made possible through the joint interests in the development of baseball, that see baseball not only as an exciting and challenging sport but also as an ideal tool to teach and learn the basic wisdons of life - to lose without being a looser, to step up individually but be a teamplayer, ...
"...and your bats will be used to develop baseball all over the world." (IBAF)
We are honored and looking forward to many more cooperations that help to develop baseball everywhere.

After some heavy delays we have finally launched the new YaYa homepage, still at the old address.
Although there are still some blanks and there is further development needed we hope that the new pages give you a good first first look at what is to come in the future.
We will very soon relaunch on our own webspace, and hope to have filled all blanks by then. |
Under constant construction

We have just seen some of the YaYa Bats that we handed out to the teams at EuroBaseball '07 in Barcelona: at the XXXVII Baseball World Cup.
Reportedly it was especially some players from the Netherlands that used their YAYA Bats acquired at the European Championships in Barcelona. |
Nations qualified for Beijing so far: China (home), USA, Cuba (American Pool), Japan (Asian Pool), Netherlands (European Pool).
Mexico, Canada, Taipei, Korea, Spain, Germany, Australia, and South Africa will play out the last three slots. |

(Sep 2007, Barcelona) It is smooth fielding Shortstop Jason Pospishil with a YaYa Bat at the Eurobaseball '07 in Barcelona.
It is only moments before he singles. The single turned into the game-winning run in the 13th inning for Croatia's final 2-1 victory over Ukraine.
The game that had been an impressive defensive battle, seemingly lasting forever, was decided with two key situations that both occured in the 13th. First Urkaine was unable to score with runners on 2nd and 3rd and 1 out, filling the bases but finally bunting into desaster.
Then the game was decided by a two-base fielding error on a popfly to right, that scored Jason and ended the game.
